Nicola wrote: Wallace isn't the first star I contacted today, but he is the first person who sent in a letter written by him to give his blessing and encouragement to the people at the earthquake area. Your kindness is acknowledged~! Thank you for your support~! Hope we are all together to benedict the disaster area.

Sichuan has always been so unstable?

Sometimes secret nuclear testing makes land unstable. Not sure where China plays with their missiles.

I watched this morning, audio is not very clear, but I can see his sincere eyes and his composure... He is one ........incredible person. Glad I am part of Red Cross, but I am not on eligible list to call on for this mission....

A side story...isn't this the same jacket he put on while playing in the snow in Beijing a while ago? The zebra jacket?

It is really sweet of him to film this short video to encourage the victims of the Ya An earthquake. I hope China has stepped up the rescue efforts! My prayers & blessings go out to the survivors and the victims' families! Huomis in China should do something meaningful to show their support as well!!!

Wallace's Baidu forum is organizing a donation activity. I've just donated Rmb2,000 to them. I hope all the donations can be turned into actual needs for the people in the disaster area.

Thanks for all the info. I just wondered how things were going. It's great people are donating that much money. Although it can't bring back life to the ones who lost it, at least they can take good care of the other victims and rebuild the city.

Those Huomis from the Baidu Wallace forum are really active. Great to know you made a donation too :-)))

Wallace's Baidu forum has accumulated more than RMB10,000 by today afternoon (12 hours after the donation campaign started off).

tobemela, thanks so much!

let's everyone do what we can do -- those available can donate, and those who can't -- we can pray.

Although I can't donate to the Baidu forum (coz I really don't know how to tackle the banking stuff), I'll donate in HK by myself. Wish those suffering from the earthquake can soon walk out the darkest moment. :-y
